WHO`S THIS GUY? ABOUT ME

Hi i am Adam known as  Adam pastryguy to my family and friends

I am just over 30 and from East London England   i love to bake amongst other things and run a small business called Adam the Pastryguy. Which comprises of a Jam Business, a Cake treats business and various other things.

To provide something different from anywhere else to enhance and create intrigue, excitement and captivation is my  business mantra
TIME TRAVEL MANY YEARS AGO ……………………………..

The story  Began many years ago when i was studying to be a chef at college. I learned how to waiter and cook. I quite enjoyed the waitering side of it working at college functions quite often and asked to do some outside college time too!

The chef side of course i liked some aspects, cutting up carcasses of meat and gutting fish are not for me i always liked the pastry sweet side of things and whenever we did that i was in an element. Because i preferred that people referred to me when it came to sweets etc. I chose sweets etc in my third year and learned some stuff.

left college not really wanting to be a 5 star hotel chef  but do it as some kind of business, several years of doing bits and bobs i now do run a small business of my own, where i am the so called boss. Taking orders for cakes and sweet treats on occasion among the current other activities i pursue alongside my business.

I had a request for a cake for a wedding party anniversary a decent sized cake from a friend, i made it with lots of nerves. After that time when the cakes went down very well i thought maybe i could do this as a business. I had an order every now and then for different occasions which was mainly from friends. I decided to do a business course  from home and did a btec hospitality management course from ICS.

That course somehow triggered my mind into a more business brain into looking at different parts of businesses and operations logistics DREADED FINANCE ! accounts etc and from then i started making more business related actions and thoughts.
