Ever since the Uk left the Eu with Brexit back in 2020ish, we have seen never before seen or heard of Australian Candy and Chocolate bars. Part of a trade deal maybe? but B&M have been importing Cadburys & Nestle bars from Australia and New Zealand.
I had no idea that Cadburys was so different and varied down under than here in the uk. Different countries and markets have vastly different tastes it seems. I was reading about Cadburys in Australia and learnt they set up a factory in 1919 Tasmania close to the city of Hobart ( see wikipedia for more info)
Just goes to show you how far a company can reach and produce across the globe. Of course American company Kraft brought Cadburys controversially at the time. It is now one of many brands under Mondelez the new company arm. You have seen gradually Cadburys include brands like Oreo, Daim, Chips Ahoy in their bars all part of the same company.
Anyway back to Australia, i never could have imagined the variety of what would come over. Flavours which are not unknown but here are like Alien. Banana foam, Boysenberry, Pineapple and more. I kept track best i could around socials and got as many as i could. I brought 2 each time of the new bars so i would have another. They were reasonable of £2.99 each compared to what online sites sell at £8-9ish a bar!
It seems the new flavour bars were not here to stay long, and came and went fast. It was hard to keep up with a new one seemingly out often. It was exciting to try all these new and unusual bars, and i have spent a small fortune doing so, but worth it. I am sure there are still loads more out there to try.
Anyway lets get into it with the bars and individual bars and thoughts opinions naturally!

Who knows what they will come up with next ? ( unless you work for Cadburys then you might know ) What was your favourite bar? if you are also in the Uk trying them like me, or if you are an Aussie what`s your fave bar out there? or suggestions on bars to try
I am off on holiday to the States soon, so will be back probably with a haul of American groceries to review and make my way through.
