I have previously written 2 blog reviews for Oreos and am combining and updating them into this ultimate guide. So get ready with a big cup of Hot drink or Cold your choice for an Oreo Adventure.

I first had Oreos as a teenager in the states on holiday. I developed a love for Oreos i would order any dessert with Oreos in it or a Oreo Milkshake whilst there. But when back home i hardly ate them funny huh ? I do not remember having Oreos back here in England before i had them in the states.

The States have the best ones with tons of limited edition flavours which we never get here in England my partner sent me some from the states so have been lucky to try some of the limited ones, although they are sold on ebay does make them quite expensive to buy with shipping/import

As well as eating them plain i also like to bake with them in Desserts, treats and most of all Chocolate covered Oreos. I experimented with some moulds and now have probably around 20 or so designs for themes and seasonal ones. They work great when they are special editions to match with the flavour for the shape. I started selling them at fairs and markets and kids and adults brought them, so are now a regular addition to my offering. I seldom see others selling them and making mine different definitely gives me the edge.

I continue to look out for new moulds to make new Chocolate covered Oreos and take out with me to fairs and markets. Funny to see peoples reactions to them adults and kids. Just as  many adults buy them than kids. And also interesting how they pronounce  Oreo  i say it ORE-EO some people say it OOH-REO perhaps that’s the posh way of saying it haha.

I managed to get quite a few online discounted Flavours for myself as they were passed there best before date from Americanfizz online – they sell American groceries etc. Special edition ones can cost a fortune on import and on eBay so good to try that way and still tasted good albeit maybe a little softer.

I have counted at least 30 Limited edition flavours over the years i have not tried as below. These all come from the USA and some were short limited editions or Seasonal. Some are still around but haven’t managed to get hold of them yet. And of course it is not limited to just Cookies Oreo make other desserts, Ice cream, cakes, Doughnuts, Candy bars so will include some i have tried also in the guide review. A lot of the ones i will mention are no longer available but will serve as a guide to what has been about

I would love to get hold of all of these flavours, but alas many are long gone

So here goes the review of the ones i have tried going back from 2009 – current 2020 majority come from USA some from China and ones here in the UK. Since i wrote the original blog we have had an explosion of different flavours here in the UK. We only had the Original kind now we have Peanut Butter, Mint, Double stuff, Vanilla cookie, Coconut Thins, Chocolate brownie, Chocolate and Birthday Party.

Oreo Strawberry Cheesecake was a limited edition no longer available (sigh) in the Uk goes really nice as White Chocolate covered Oreos. I found a few Oreo flavours in China town and my local Oriental store. Green Tea, Peach/Grape Raspberry/Blueberry and Mango/Orange. My favourite is deffo the Orange Mango, Green tea is okay the others just have a synthetic flavour to the filling i did not like very scented tasting.

USA FLAVOURS

  • Peppermint – Seasonal perfect pairing with White Chocolate
  • Toasted Coconut – Vanilla Cookie with Coconut bits filling okay
  • Red Velvet – Red Cookie with Cream Cheese frosting filling were nice
  • Lemon – Vanilla Cookie Lemon filling loved these
  • Cinnamon Bun – Vanilla Cookie Cinnamon type filling were nice
  • Filled Cupcake – Vanilla filling with Chocolate dot centre a waste of a flavour to me
  • Cookie Dough – Chocolate cookie and Cookie dough flavour filling – were okay not great
  • Fudgees – 2010 Oval shaped Cookie with Chocolate filling like a regular Chocolate Oreo
  • Fudge Rings – Rings covered in Chocolate coating these were nice and different
  • oreo fudge Cremes original and Mint Chocolate coated single cookie with filling both nice
  • Oreo Blizzard – basically Cookies & Cream flavour
  • White Chocolate covered Oreos – nice but do have a bit of a waxy taste to the Chocolate.
  • Birthday Cake – Vanilla Cookie with vanilla filling with Sprinkles nice
  • Oreo Cakesters original and Peanut Butter – Soft cake like cookies with filling – these tasted quite artificial so not a fave at all. The brownies were the same sort of taste. Glad i got to try them but not again.

Shall we continue? and breathe

  • Hot spicy Cinnamon – just like the Candies you could not eat too many of these without feeling the burn elsewhere lol- i liked these as i like red hot Cinnamon candies
  • Reeses Pb cups – Half chocolate half Peanut butter creme filling a classic combo
  • Almost forgot Pumpkin Spice my fave seasonal fall flavour

So drum roll please ……. that is 48 different types of Oreos i have tried from Original to Fudge Cremes to seasonal Pumpkin Spice. That is not including Candy Bars, Pudding, Wafer sticks, Wafers Doughnuts and cereal.

I will continue to hunt down more of the Limited editions when they come out and anything Oreo related i can see. There are a few things i have to add to this blog need to find the photos first!

Hope you have enjoyed reading as maybe a fellow Oreo Lover/addict like myself or in curiosity
