There is no way of denying that Christmas is well underway in stores and online.
It has been since October even September when i spotted Mince pies in Tesco. Christmas Music, Christmas decorations and Festive flourishes in our Supermarkets and shops.
On the build up to Christmas i have picked up several items and here are my favourite festive things so far. They include food, homewares and decorations.
Bring on the festive food
I spotted these in Waitrose Chocolate & Ginger Mince pies on offer for £1.33
Chocolate pastry filled with Orange Mincemeat studded with Ginger Brandy and Mincemeat. I was disappointed with these they had a Chocolate taste but hardly any Ginger flavour and the Brandy must have evaporated off. Did taste Of Orange but hardly any filling.
I
What more you could want for Christmas? Festive Potato shapes from Tesco
Stars, Snowman & Trees, they tasted great and a real throwback to my school day meals.
Their is only one Snowman in the pack ( well in mine there was ) mostly stars and trees.
Tesco Pigs in Blankets coated Peanuts £1
Usually the Coated Peanuts are much more pricier, these are just £1 for a good size bag.
They had a strong Bacon flavouring and well worth the money for some festive snacks and nibbles. Will be getting some more of these!
Tesco Festive filled cookies
I spotted these in Tesco and they sounded incredibly festive. They are filled with Mincemeat in a soft Cookie. I wanted to try them and replicate the idea myself.
They were small, i suppose they would have to be for the filling. Tasted great plenty of filling inside. The cookie was so so. Definitely buy them again but try making them myself first. Great Alternative to a Mince pie and since i have an abundance of Mincemeat something to try new for this year.

I was on the lookout for a Festive Biscuit/ Cake tin to take in treats for work. I spotted this in Home Bargains incredibly festive in Red & White and a large size for a Cake or treat. In my case Gingerbread Men which my co workers gobbled up.
Asda have got the most Festive Cups, Teacups and mugs this year
I was totally swooned by them and wanted to get them all!
I did buy the Reindeer Milk jug and Mug as they were incredibly cute and Festive. Got my eye on the Santa Cookie jar ( middle photo , bottom row)
I do already have the Christmas Pudding Teapot from Matalan and the Pudding Sugar dish from Asda. They also have a Christmas Tree Teapot also but have not seen that yet!
Santa Milk jug from Poundland £1
Spotted this, again after work Santa Milk jug to leave out for Santa.
It will go along with my other Christmas Ceramics for a Festive Afternoon Tea. They also have another one for Snacks for Santa.
Santa Feet Cake stand from Tesco £12
A huge thumbs up to Tesco this year for bringing out this Cake stand, otherwise only seen in the States. It is a great size and quality around 9inch i think. I had to get 2 of them not knowing if i would see them in stores. I should imagine they will be popular.
I ordered 2 online from Tesco direct and picked up from my local store via click and collect. I had seen them for sale in the States from Walmart but not as big or tall. So happy they come to our shore, after me wanting one for a while.
Last year they had the Snowflake stand which i also got.
Snowman Cake stand Ebay £15 with another stand.
People who know me and my love for display and Cake stands, will understand i regularly am on the lookout for new stands. I found this on Ebay which came with another stand no damage and a great festive find. I did not have to fight off any competition either which was good with any other takers on Ebay.
It will look great alongside my Snowflake and snow themed tableware on the Christmas Table or stand.
TIME TO DECORATE THE TREE

I was in Tkmaxx after work and spotted this Burger Bauble it is massive!
I did not buy it first, but went back for it another day, luckily they still had it.
It was £2.99 an absolute bargain for the size as these Fibreglass ones do tend to be pricey.
What could be more appropriate for a Londoner, than to have London Landmarks Christmas tree decorations. These were my 1st Festive decoration find from Poundland £1 each They are a Resin type material so a good weight to them.
How could i not buy these Christmas Jumper decorations? from Poundland £1
They come in a pack with Nordic style patterned Hats, Mittens and Jumpers
With my extensive Christmas Jumpers collection of over 70 a perfect homage to them on the Tree itself.
Well that is all my Festive finds so far, on the build up to Christmas am sure i will find more and report back in another blog about my favourite Festive foods and finds part 2
And there is always room for some more Festive tableware and homewares to bring some festive cheer to the home. So keep tuned and thanks for reading
