It`s almost the end of December and of 2015, time for the Christmas  and January sales  grab next  Christmases supplies and things we didnt know we needed!

Some people may know  or not! that last year i got many Christmas Jumpers in the sale from Primark for £2/3 each and i vowed to do a Christmas advent calender with them this year! not knowing how many i had i went ahead with the project. Each day revealing a new jumper, some i had got the year before and not even worn yet. I managed to get  all the way to 25 and wear them all, some musical, a few did`nt work and got a lot of comments from people when i was out at fairs. 2 turned out to be womans ones because the different fit but fit me anyway.  For mentioning it in a comp i won a xmas goodies selection from Holland & Barett!

Christmas Jumpers aren`t for everyone and over the course of December i did lose about 30 likers on my page. Now the hunt for Jumpers   for next year is on perhaps i could get a world record if i get to 50 LOLcompleted advent calender

This December has been a Very lucky December for me  winning a few online competitions.  It does only take a chance to win, a comment a photo entry or just a like of a facebook post. I always appreciate and am thankful for the small things i win time to time. A free Zoflora in their spin game, a lunchbox  a months supply of poshcorn popcorn , plus a luxury hamper and a Xmas/Chocolate pack of goodies from Holland & Barett

December was a busy time for me baking for festive fairs and events, more than previous years and lots of new things tried out and spent far too much on more xmas bakeware for next year, (not including the sales bakeware i might potentially get) Trying out new ideas from previous years. Mince pies with Reindeer tops, Rocky road Xmas puds, Snowman Oreos, Santa Oreos, tree Oreos, Snowflake Oreos, Clementine drizzle cake, Santa`s cookies, Christmas Shortbread, Christmas chocolate covered Mallows, Snowflake sponges and Xmas Jams, Mulled punch too. And the most popular by far was the Gingerbread men with rave reviews on them!

The 2 new Christmas Jams went down very well too, Christmas Cake and Black forest Cake and my Gingerbread house boxes with 2 mini Jams sold all out of them .

Sounds Like a busy December right?

Well that wasn`t it, i also hosted another Community party for Christmas time, A Pirates Theme one. With Council Grant money for hosting community events.  So i organised that doing the decorations, food, and 4 tier cake also. The event was good but not as many people turned up as i had hoped so  food leftover, the weather was drizzly and in the late afternoon so perhaps that detered people. The local Paper sent a Cameraman so took photos, that went in an online article about the party which was good,  me and the cake and me Mum, Dad and my partner as Pirates. I like to give back to the community that helped me out with opportunities to go sell my baked goods and Jams where i volunteer, a nice end to the year little get together with a fun theme.

now bring on the sales! and a Happy New year to you all  Adam x
