Made this Coconut cream pie with an oreo base instead of the traditional pie shell ( PASTRY CASE to us Brits !)
Used my reeses mini peanut butter oreos as a base, including the oreo pb filling which melted with the butter and made a peanut butter base, next time will add less butter and or more cookies without the fillings, i ate just as many before they made it to the base lol
Topped with a coconut custard and cream topping, will use half as much cream next time also and toast some coconut flakes to scatter over the top, was delish !
