December 2013 saw the party The Stratford Chocolate Factory
a Wonka themed party at the local community centre in east london Newham Stratford
I assumed the role of Mr Wonka himself creating a bonkers whacky evening full of sweets , music and fun
I had a sweet buffet for kida and adults which i dished out with some helpers to visitors, a chocolate fountain, marhsmallows, donuts, meringues, hot and cold food fizzy drinks galore for the fizzy lifting drinks aspect.
I made turkish delight and marshmallows from scratch
I made giant lollipops from brooms and mops and called them lollimops!
Found a great lot of props including a giant golden ticket, got a wonka bar banner and got some wonka bar wrappers to wrap around basic chocolate bars, the kids were fighting for them !
Adults turned to Children for the night with sweets and wonka atmosphere, again i created the cake which i was over the moon with, walls adorned with stained glass edible cookie bunting like the walls you could lick in the film
This event made me want to go into themed candy buffet parties and that is my aim still to combine alongside my cake business.
